“The most meaningful part of my experience with the horses was gaining clarity on direction, aspects I need to remove from my life, and identifying positive directions. The horses added levity/lightness to an otherwise “serious” program. It was very surprising to feel their influence and guidance, even though I was open to it. Felisa’s coaching style influence was gentle and reaffirming. I needed the encouragement to see other influences that were not a part of the model at first. My recommendation for a session with the horses is to be open, let go of ego and judgment, and be present. You might be shocked by what you learn about yourself.
